Don't go cheap if you're a runner!

Ironman Stroller - added the handlebar bottle holder and Infant Carrier assembly

We chose this jogging stroller for many reasons after much research. The best features: Yellow with reflective accents are easily seen by oncoming vehicles, making me and my precious passenger highly visible. Very light and tracks well, doesn't pull left or right. Very smooth ride. Reclines way back for a tired baby. Collapses easily for trips to more scenic running routes. Infant Carrier attachment, worked with our Chicco KeyFit Infant Carrier (even though it's not on the 'recommended' list) Slides right in and the safety straps included keep it tight.

One negative: Once the baby is big enough to be strapped in without the Infant Carrier, the cup holder (included) can be attached. It's a little high for our little guy to reach anything. It's more of a place for him to grab with his toes than an effective drink and snack holder. He shouldn't be eating while we're at race pace anyways, so no big deal.

Our little passenger loves going for our runs together. Maybe it's the freedom of the great outdoors, the wind in his face, the scenery passing by or just the hum of the road beneath the wheels. He doesn't fuss much and my long runs can last two hours or more. He often naps along the way. I expect to run a thousand miles with this stroller. Built to run, built to last.

Awesome stroller for running moms!!!

We got this from my family for the birth of my daughter. The doctor said not to use it until my daughter could sit up well (6 months). I'm a hardcore runner so I did a lot of research on these. I wanted one that had a locked front wheel and that my husband did not "kick" when he ran behind it (he is very tall, I am not!). This stroller is great. Easy to put together. We got some accessories such as the snuzzler that keeps baby comfy during winter runs, and the wind shield. Its easy to push and has a strap to hold onto when you want to let it roll ahead of you without holding on.

Its expensive but worth it. I have tried SEVERAL running strollers. This by far is the best.

The only thing is it is kind of hard to turn corners but since it has a locking front wheel, I kind of expected that. Its not made to be an everyday stroller. The other down-fall is that you cannot put a newborn like other models since it does not recline that much.

Highly recommend.
Folds up nicely to go in trunk.

LOVE it!!!

I LOVE this stroller!! Before I got pregnant, I was running 6-10 miles a day. Now, that I have my 5 month old daughter, I am training for a marathon to help me lose my baby weight. This stroller is awesome!!

The stroller is light weight and easy to run with!! It takes about 30 seconds to get use to running while pushing something!! The only issue I had with the stroller was the tires. Living in New Mexico, we have a lot of goat heads, and on my first run I popped 2 of the 3 tires! :( However, I was able to get it fixed really easily and had something put in the tires to keep the goat-heads from popping it again! I am not sure what it was called, but any bike shop down here carries it!

Also, my daughter loves the stroller too. It provides a very smooth ride for her!! I started putting her in this stroller when she was just over 3 months (she could hold her head up really well before I put her in it). She rides in the stroller very well!

I would recommend this stroller to everyone!!

Great jogging stroller! My husband (6') and I (5'2") are training for a marathon scheduled for six months after our son was born. We purchased the Bob Ironman with the car seat adapter after doing extensive research. The instructions state not to jog with the car seat adapter but we feel it is secure and safe on our local paved trails. The stroller and adapter were easy to assemble. I assembled it while my son napped the day it arrived. The stroller is easy to push while running; it seems to just glide across the pavement. The easy fold design is superb! I can fold the stroller and put it in the back of my SUV while holding my son if needed. The only challenging feature is the tracking adjustment. It tracks straight now but required a couple tries to get it right. My husband runs to the side of the stroller as his stride is too long to run behind it, but it works for him. We have not used the regular seat portion of the stroller yet as our son was only 5 months old at the time of this review.

Awesome Jogger

I just bought this stroller and have taken it out for walks/jogging. This is one sturdy stroller! It practically goes by itself. I don't feel like I even have to push it. I mostly run on the pavement, no sidewalks. If you take off road, it will be bumpy. My little guy doesn't mind the little dips every now and then. I have the car seat attachment. It was easy to install and looks very sturdy. Overall very smooth stroller. I do like the brake feature. If you are mostly a walker/slow jogger, I recommend getting the Revolution that has the swivel wheel w/the option to fix the wheel. It does get a little annoying to keep adjusting the stroller. In hindsight, I would rather have paid a little more for the revolution for the swivel wheel in front. Another feature I like is that the stroller folds very easily! A little bulky but that's b/c the tires are 16inches!

I looked long and hard and chose the BOB Ironman over the BOB Revolution because I wanted to feel that I could train as hard as I wanted and never worry about the stroller. I made a great choice! I am training for a race, and slowly building up speed and endurance with this stroller. The baby likes it, she is 5 mos and comfortable in it--she even sleeps in it! It's fine for city running, today it went over both the Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridges. The only challenge is that with the fixed wheel, sometimes city stairs are too narrow to fit--so you have to stop and carry it. That is the single negative thing that I can think to say about my stroller. I have lost 40 pounds and will take off all the baby weight thanks to the BOB Ironman. Go runners, go!

absolutely the best

This is my favorite item and something that I could not live without. Wonderful for runners or walkers. I have used many joggers and this is the best. Is easy to manuever while running and will go in any direction while running/walking as long as you apply a little pressure on the handlebars in the direction you want it to go. Very smooth ride as well. This is the cadillac of baby joggers. I got the car seat adapter which is great and a must have as well. At six weeks postpartum we were out walking/running. The adapter is very secure and my baby fits beautifuly and very comfortably. This is a must have especially for those of you that are serious runners. Much better then the original baby jogger brand.

Awesome

For serious runners. The person who said they hate it obviously is using it for a regular "lets go shopping" stroller. It works good for that too in my opinion but is really built for running and going places like off road. It is really not hard to turn. Don't buy it from babiesrus tho its $15 dollars cheaper everywhere else. I had a regular "jogger" if you could even call it that and my son and I destroyed it after 2 or 3 months of running 15+ miles per week. The BOB jogger is built very well and will actually last. Well worth the extra money.

I registered for a Bob Ironman stroller after doing quite a bit of research and asking my running friends for recommendations. I love the stroller, but in the first month of use, we have had to put five patches on the tires. I had to go to a specialty bike shop to get thorn resistant tubes. For a $350 stroller, couldn't Bob just start with better tubes? They were only $9 each! Other than the tires, however, I would HIGHLY recommend this stroller. We have the infant carseat adapter and our daughter has enjoyed our runs in the stroller since she was 4 weeks old!

I am an avid runner and bought the BOB Ironman stroller while I was pregnant so that I could continue running once my son was born. I started using it when he was 4 months old and he loved it. He is 2 now and we still go on our 6 mile runs in it when the weather permits. I can't wait to see how the double stroller handles now that I have another on the way!

I got this as a gift & hate it. The front wheel does not move. Everytime you make a turn, you have to lift the stroller and turn it. I tried the regular revolution at a girlfriends place and it is much better. It turns really nice & is much more user friendly.[...]

I got this stroller one week ago. I have been unable to accomplish a straight tracking line as it pulls to the right. Even with the tracking adjusted so one would expect the stroller to go left, still goes to the right just not as bad. Also, there is squeaky suspension on the left side. I live on a gravel road and it squeaks as much as it doesn't. I am at an impasse and unfortunately this stroller is not living up to what I would expect out of a $350.00 stroller. One point off for lack of adequate tracking and minus another for squeaky suspension - both major downfalls.
